Carrots - Yummy!

I had carrots for the 1st time tonight. They were YUMMY! I liked them so much, I put them in my hair, all over the bib and tray. I was saving them for later! But, my adoptive dad gave me a bath and washed them out. I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow to save them....

Lights on Temple Square

Last night my adoptive parents took me up to Temple Square to see the lights. It was cold but all the colors and lights were fun. There were so many lights. I only wanted to ride in my stroller for about 10 minutes and then my adoptive parents carried me for the rest of the time. That was much better anyway - plus it was warmer! :)

Friday, last week, my adoption was finalized. My birthparents came to the hearing. It was so great to see them. They are so nice - I love them so much. I really enjoyed having brunch with them after the hearing too.

I am trying to be more independent...I am sitting up and playing more... I really like to be in my high chair and to feed myself.

I'm really tired tonight - so I've off to dream land! Good night :)

I'm 6 Months Old!

I've now started eating more baby food. Here I am eating peas... Yummy! I love it! My favorite part is getting it all over in my face and hair. It's way fun!!! My adoptive mom isn't too fond of trying to get all the food out of my hair, but I think its great. My hands can touch on the top of my head.....

Here I am with my adoptive dad and we are getting ready to decorate our Christmas Tree. I am not sure how I feel about the prickly branches - but oooh, the lights are so pretty!

Can you believe that I am 6 months old!!!! Wow, look how I've grown.... I am even sitting up and having fun being more independent.

Last weekend, I got to try some toast... It was really good. It makes a pretty big mess - which I think is all kinds of fun -- my adoptive parents don't think it is so wonderful. I wonder why?

On Sunday, I decided that I wasn't going to eat anything unless I could put it in my mouth all by myself. By 10:00 p.m. I figured out that there wasn't quite enough things that I could do by myself to keep my tummy full, so I took a bottle and went to bed. It was fun giving my adoptive parents a run for their money though!!!
