Busy Week...

On January 16, 2008 - my adoptive parents and I met both their families at the Vernal Utah Temple to be sealed. It was so cold.....My adoptive dad said that most of the way there it was below zero outside the car. Now that's cold! I was so upset that I didn't get to be with my adoptive mom the whole time that I sobbed the whole way through the sealing. I was so very sad. All that crying wore me out. So I slept during the pictures. My adoptive mom wrapped me up in the afgan that my birthmother's grandmother made. It was so warm and cozy.
This is my adoptive mom's family. I only had one aunt (Lucinda was in school), and one uncle (Vaughn was at a conference for work in Salt Lake) missing from this picture. All of my cousins were at grandmas playing with the babysitter. In the front is my great-grandma. She is so nice and gives the best kisses and hugs.

This is my adoptive dad's family. My great-grandparents were at the temple, but they didn't stay for pictures. It was way to cold and they needed to get home.

On January 18, 2008, I was given a name and blessing by my adoptive father at our ward building. My adoptive grandmother made my blessing dress. I felt just like a princess. I loved to feel the lace and put it in my mouth. It wasn't very good though. I got to see my birthparents and one set of birth-grandparents. It was so fun to see them and to play with them. I love them so much.

Sorry it has taken my adoptive mom so long to post these pictures. She has been really sick and it took all her extra energy to take care of me.

Have a great day! :)
