Family Reunion

My adoptive mom's family reunion was a 2 1/2 day camping event. We arrived on July 24th and celebrated Uncle Seth's birthday! Thanks for having a birthday so I could have some cake! While we were camping we took some walks, played with cousins, napped, heard stories about ancestors, had a talent show (I got stage fright and couldn't perform), took a bath in a small swimming pool with the other 1-year old cousins, participated in "Fear Factor", and cried a lot. I had fun, but I was so ready to get back to my house and bed by the end of the event. Here's some pics of our reunion. (Mom said she'll post more pics later - her camera batteries had trouble and she didn't get any pics - so she's waiting for pics from other family members.)

Here I am with all my cousins and aunt Lucinda. Two of them were born last year just like me! This pic was taken just before we left the campground.

Here I am taking a walk with Grandma, cousin Daphne, and Aunt Lucinda. I really like walking up this little walkway over and over and over. I could do it all by myself and was so proud to show off.
Here's my adoptive mom participating in "Fear Factor". She did really well and didn't get very messy at all. Good Job - Mom.
Here's my adoptive dad participating in "Fear Factor". He didn't really get very wet, but he sure had fun getting all the cousins wet. Luckily, I was napping and avoided the entire event. Yea! Mom says that the water fight was fun and that you are the King of Water Fights - Good Job Dad!!!
My adoptive dad thought it was fun to put me in the back of the explorer and let me get my own food out of the box. I liked it to but shhh, don't tell my adoptive mom - okay.... He kept telling her that this was my little food shop...

Even though my adoptive mom put sunscreen on me everyday I still got a suntan. I gave her some grief at night because I really didn't want to sleep in the tent. I know I kept some of the family awake - Sorry! It was fun to be there with everyone and hopefully in the next few years, I'll like camping a little more - at least my dad is hoping so.
